Summary :

When Daikichi returns home for his grandfather's funeral he meets an unfamiliar child in the garden, whom his mother explains is Rin, his grandfather's illegitimate daughter!

The child's presence embarrasses all her relatives and nobody wants to adopt her, until Daikichi, annoyed by their attitudes, decides to take care of her himself.
