The main themes are the nature of self and the difficulty of communication between people. Fans of Hagio Moto will recognize many of her favorite plot twists. For instance: the first story is about a girl who dies in an isolated research base on a distant planet. A clone with her memories (up to two years before her death) is sent to replace her. But... how will her lover and her friends deal with this new "her" who is not really "herself"? By the way, the English translation is by Matt Thorn, which is always a good point.
In this publication there are also two others stories by Hagio, 4/4 [Quatre-Quarts] and X+Y, included.
