The story seems to take place a certain convenience store that had become famous for the large number of customers but now it is completely dead. The strange mix of employees and the various unfortunate accidents that occur are probably to blame.
The main character, Ichinotani Hikaru, is on his way to an interview when his stomach becomes greatly upset which and comes across the store to use their restroom resulting in the worst and most embarrassing situation in his life. But after being asked to work at the store, that memory may become the least of his worries....
