Summary :
Manji is an immortal swordsman, cursed with eternal life. When he could not stand not dying, he vowed to Yaobikuni, an 800-year-old woman who gave Manji his eternal life, that if he kills one thousand evil men, he will be free from the curse. Meanwhile, Rin, a 15-year-old girl whose family has been killed by the Itto-Ryu vowed vengeance for her family. Suggested by Yaobikuni to find Manji as her bodyguard, she begs him to fight for her. But when Itto-Ryu's finest fighters beats him right to left, when he's kidnapped by the shogunate to be experienced on, will he really live to his words of defeating one thousand evil men?
