Summary :

It's not easy being beautiful. The envy, the jealousy, the vicious rumors spread by your best friend. That's life for young Momo. Peach Girl is about a high school girl that everyone thinks is either a beach bunny or a slut because of her tanned skin. The real reason she is so tanned is because she was on the swim team and tans very easily. She likes a boy, Toji, whom she heard only likes fair-skinned girls. She spends a lot of time trying to remake herself into the girl she believes he wants. However, her so-called friend Sae might want him for herself...

The North American version of the manga is published in two parts by Tokyopop: Peach Girl, covering the first eight volumes of the Japanese release and "Peach Girl: Change of Heart" comprised of the final ten books.
This means Volume 9 on MangaTraders will appear as Volume 1 of "Peach Girl: Change of Heart" but the story plot is actually continuing in this "sequel".
