Summary :

During the end of the Edo period in Japan, which would become known simply as the Revolution, a group of Patriots fought to restore imperial power. Among them was man who would eventually be feared as the Hitokiri Battousai. He was a man slayer of immeasurable skill who may have single-handily brought forth the Meiji Era. However, following the Revolution's end, the Battousai disappeared altogether. Ten years later, he would appear again, with a reverse-blade sword and an oath to never kill again. This time, as the rurouni, Himura Kenshin sought redemption for his crimes. However, with old rivals constantly rising, men seeking to destroy peace, and those with desire to face the legendary Battousai, can Kenshin protect those he cares about and still maintain his oath?
