Summary :
During the end of the Edo period in Japan, which would become known simply as the Revolution, a group of Patriots fought to restore imperial power. Among them was man who would eventually be feared as the Hitokiri Battousai. He was a man slayer of immeasurable skill who may have single-handily brought forth the Meiji Era. However, following the Revolution's end, the Battousai disappeared altogether. Ten years later, he would appear again, with a reverse-blade sword and an oath to never kill again.
