Solutions to Commonly Repoted Issues:

  • Please do not report a file for a download error unless you have tried to download it at least twice and recieved the same result both times.
  • Files with a .rar extention require compatible software to extract or view the contents of.
    Click here for a list of software that supports the RAR format. Mangatraders recommends 7-zip.
  • Depending on where you live in relation to our servers and your Internet Service Provider your download may stop before it completes because the connection dropped. ~98% of the times this is beyond the control of the Mangatraders servers or staff as it has to do with interference or congestion between your computer and our server. Retrying is typically the only option for dealing with such issues.
Helpful Information to Give With Reports:
  • Web browser type and version (i.e. IE7, Firefox 3.06)
    • Download will Not Start
  • Program you tried to use to extract/view the file
    • Incomplete/Corrupt/Unopenable Files
  • The exact size of the file you downloaded in bytes, not megabytes or kilobytes, bytes.
    On Windows: Right-click the file, select Properties, copy the number in ()'s across from 'Size'.
    On MacOS: Ctrl+Click on file and select 'Get Info', size in bytes should be in ()'s.
    • Incomplete/Corrupt/Unopenable Files
  • Type of internet service you have: Dial Up, DSL, Cable etc.
    • Download Will Not Start
    • Incomplete/Corrupt/Unopenable Files
